About Tenwick

Our consulting experience spans a range of businesses and project types. We also bring specialist expertise in AI, from assessing a use case to integrating it into an existing workflow.

Our work can cross departmental boundaries. A technology choice may depend on how a process works, while an operational change may need support from the systems behind it. We start with the situation and agree where our experience will be most useful.

Services

You may have a defined brief, or a problem that needs a closer look. We help establish a useful scope before the work starts.

Business decisions

When you are weighing a proposal or a change in direction, a second view can help make the decision clearer. We can review the assumptions behind the plan and compare the options against what your business needs.

The work can end with a written recommendation that explains the trade-offs and the questions still to resolve. You have a basis for a decision, with the uncertainties made explicit.

Operations

A process may work on paper and still be difficult to run. We look at where work slows down and speak with the people who handle it, so the proposed changes reflect how the business actually operates.

Depending on the assignment, the result could be a revised workflow or clearer responsibilities at a handoff. We can also help your team introduce the change and assess whether it is working.

Technology & AI

A new tool should solve a business problem. We help you assess existing systems and compare options, including where AI could make the work easier or more effective.

For an AI project, we can help define the use case and assess whether the available data is suitable. We work through implementation with your team, including how outputs will be checked and how the system fits into day-to-day operations.

Project delivery

A decision has been made, but the team is already stretched. We can take on a defined role in delivery, helping organize the work and coordinate the people responsible for completing it.

That can include clarifying dependencies and keeping outstanding decisions visible. We agree where our responsibility starts and ends, so our role fits alongside the people already doing the work.

How an engagement starts

The first discussion establishes what is happening and what you need help with. We then agree a scope that is useful and achievable, including the result the work should produce.

Before work starts

We set out the responsibilities on both sides and agree how progress will be reviewed. Important assumptions and dependencies should be clear at this point, along with the commercial terms for the assignment.

At the end of an assignment

For a review, that may be a written assessment with a recommendation and unresolved questions. Delivery support may produce an implementation plan or a handover of the work completed. The deliverable depends on the brief; we agree it before starting.

When new information changes the scope, we discuss it before taking on additional work.

Write down what you need.

A short description of the situation is a useful starting point, even if the scope is still taking shape.

Describe what is happening and the result you are hoping for. If a deadline or an existing commitment affects the work, include that context. The brief downloads to your device so you can review it before sharing it.
